Study Plan

The study plan is the list of all courses or learning activities that a student intends to undertake during their academic programme, and for which the corresponding exams must be passed in order to be admitted to the final degree examination.

The learning activities included in the study plan are as follows:

  • Foundational courses (TAF A);
  • Core/subject-specific courses (TAF B);
  • Related or supplementary courses (TAF C);
  • Elective courses (TAF D);
  • Final thesis (TAF E);
  • Internship / work placement (TAF F).

(*) TAF refers to the type of learning activity (Tipologia di Attività Formativa).

The study plan may also include the recognition of credits previously earned during other academic programmes, or through certified IT or language qualifications, or through credits obtained under specific agreements or partnerships.

Students are only allowed to take exams that are included in their approved study plan. Any exams taken that are not included in the student's study plan will be automatically annulled by the Student Administration Office.

The study plan is included in the Course Catalogue (Manifesto degli Studi).
