The catering service is managed by ERSU, which operates 4 canteens located near the university campuses to allow students to have meals without having to leave their teaching location.
The canteen closest to the Department of Economics is the Central Canteen (adjacent to the Student House on Via C. Battisti), located at Via Ghibellina, no. 146. The service is available every day, including Sundays, from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM and from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
To access the university canteens, students must obtain the “Genius Card”, issued free of charge by the University of Messina. Access to the canteen service requires activation of the card at the dedicated Badge Office located at Via Ghibellina no. 146, ground floor, and the return of the magnetic badge issued by ERSU of Messina.
