The thesis assignment represents the first step in the preparation of the final examination. Students are invited to contact a faculty member of the Degree Programme who is available to act as an academic advisor, in order to agree on the thesis topic and the modalities for carrying out the work. It is strongly recommended to initiate this process well in advance of the intended graduation date, so as to allow sufficient time for the development of the thesis with the required level of depth and rigor.
Once an academic advisor has been identified, the student is required to follow the instructions provided by the advisor and by the Department’s academic offices for the formalization of the request and for the submission of the graduation application, in accordance with the deadlines set in the Academic Calendar.
The thesis assignment request, duly signed by the academic advisor, must be sent to the following email address: dipartimento.economia@unime.it
The request must be submitted at least six months prior to the graduation session in which the student intends to obtain the degree.

Students are advised to consult this section in order to download the necessary documents and verify the guidelines for the correct completion of the request and for the preparation of the thesis.
