The first step in supporting students’ transition into the world of work consists of opportunities to engage with the professional sector, organized within the activities of the Degree Program. These initiatives aim to inform students about career opportunities and prospects available to graduates, as well as to provide additional opportunities for students to connect with the business community.
At the time of graduation, students can be supported in entering the workforce through Job Placement activities offered by the COP - University Orientation and Placement Center, which include opportunities to undertake work periods at companies, institutions, and enterprises affiliated with the University of Messina.
To facilitate the employment of its graduates, post-graduate training courses are organized in collaboration with companies that guarantee employment opportunities.
Another initiative is "Mi presento" (“Here I am”), which offers graduates and soon-to-be graduates assistance in preparing their curriculum vitae and motivation letters.
In April and May, meetings called "E adesso...?" ("And now...?") are held for students enrolled in bachelor’s degree programs who intend to continue their studies. Each coordinator of the master’s degree courses and director of first-level university master’s programs within the Department of Economics presents their respective study paths, highlighting the career opportunities offered.
